About Us

Graham-Hitch Cremation and Memorial Center was founded by experienced local funeral professionals who want to provide an alternative to the high priced services offered by corporate chains who have taken over many of our local funeral establishments.

To honor our commitment to offer the finest service during a difficult time, we have brought together an experienced staff of caring individuals. We take the time to listen to your families’ needs and to explain different options, so our clients can make intelligent, informed decisions in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. Then we’ll work with you to personalize your arrangements so they are meaningful to you and correspond to your wishes and desires.

Our facility looks different from those of other providers. Our office is bright and contemporary. Rather than operating a large facility with its substantial overhead, we meet clients at our convenient Railroad Avenue office in downtown Danville.

We arrange memorial services and receptions at some of the most pleasant gathering places in the area, locations that include well known churches, restaurants, gardens, memorial reception halls and country clubs. Our staff will guide and assist in the funeral arrangements, as well as coordinate with your place of worship, cemetery, florist, musicians, monument companies and other vendors. In addition, we assist in the selection of urns, caskets, memorial stationery and other service-related items.

A majority of our customers prefer cremation, which we offer at our locally owned and operated crematorium. We also specialize in out-of-area service, including shipping and transportation.

You are welcome to meet with us in our convenient office located on Railroad Avenue in Danville. If desired, we are also available to meet with you in the comfort of your own home.

We believe a remembrance service should be an uplifting and personal tribute that is arranged with families and friends in accordance with their faith, values, traditions and personal tastes.
